IWL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

*In April of 2005, the IWL stepped out of the backyard and began holding
shows to the public. Their first show was New Era, which took place April 16,2005
and “Arc Angel” KC Jones was the first defending champion of this new era.*

*In 2008, Vic Luna announced the birth of a new championship called the
IWL Anarchy Championship. A 10 man tournament began in November of 2008,
continued to December of 2008, and the finals took place at New Era 4 in
April of 2009*

IWL BREAKOUT CHAMPIONSHIP

In December of 2012, it was announced that a new championship would debut in the IWL,
called the “Breakout” Championship which would allow the younger up and comers to
show what they got, and become the next “breakout” talent. #1 Contendership matches
would take place during the pre-show of i-PPV’s with the winner taking on the champ
on the following i-PPV itself.

A Battle Royale was held at “Wreck the Halls 3: Wreck the World” with the final 2
competitors facing one on one at the following i-PPV to crown the first ever champion.
Steven Andrews and Simon Lotto were the final two.
